I’ve been neglecting you, I know. I’ve been preoccupied – in the good way.
Here are some scenes from the last few weeks.

sharpening pencils, a good way to start the day

an etsy shop update in the making

the urban forager's lunch - wild lambsquarters, sorrel, dandelion, mustard, dill and chive flower salad

a grey evening rainbow over the city
and
an image from last night’s dream, interpretations welcome:

i dreamt i came back to get my hands
they had been amputated at the elbow
they were emaciated and starting to rot
i felt so sad and tender for them
i wrapped them up in a cloth like a baby
so no body would see

Whoa — that photo of the rainbow is AMAAAAZING!
Hmm – this one has ominous interpretations. Think happy thoughts when you go to bed, or don’t drink coffee or eat onions after 9PM – or what ever it is that gives you bad dreams!!!
dirty hands represent some kind of mess, so you were cleaning up some mess. . . and injured hands indicate delays in attaining your goals. also something your afraid of is nothing to fear. maybe?!?!
So, your dream. Strangely I see some parallels with mine. The amputated body part aspect. Your hands are obviously important to you, as a craftsperson. No wonder you feel tender toward them. (How did you wrap them if you had no hands? Maybe you’re capable of more than you think.)
Rotted and emaciated… yuck. Although in your drawing, they look a little like green onions!
